Kendall Jones- pleasure from killing animals

"We can judge the heart of man by his treatment of animals."
Immanuel Kant

This week this girl  made me feel really mad. I can't imagine what kind parent support  this brutal trip to Africa to kill innocent animals.
I can't  imagine our World future, having young people acting like that..

Toddler mug craft

Today,  a dad I work for,  stopped by MICHAEL's  store to buy some crafts for  his toddler Amelie. His wife's birthday is going to be in few days ,so, he thought   it would be nice to have something made by Amelie :  )
I suggested   Porcelane Mugs or Plates to paint  as a good ideia and easy craft to make. And we had a lot of  fun!
I helped Amelie with the design, actually I used  Stamps, and the dad was responsible for the writing.
Great team Job!

Encouragement from Daisaku Ikeda, my mentor

"Every single thing in existence is worthy of supreme reverence. Nature is not something for human beings to exploit as they see fit, solely for their own interests. Both nature and humanity are part—and at the same time complete expressions—of the life of the universe. To destroy the natural world is to destroy human life." Daisaku Ikeda

Teaching Kids Life Skills: How to Tie a Necktie

Whether we like it or not, for many of us, tying a necktie is something that we have to learn it some point in our lives . Some will learn earlier than others, but, teaching a child to tie his own necktie can be frustrating. Don't let your  kids  lose interest quickly if they feel the task is too difficult . Making something seemingly complicated simple , is the easiest way to teach them an important skill.
If you are looking for a delightful  method of learning the art of tying a tie , "Tie with The Rabbit and The Fox " is Sybrina Durant's story about the rabbit and the fox, which includes some helpful illustrations of step-by-step instructions on how to tie a tie .
Excellent  entertaining book !

Leftover wrapping paper craft

Have you ever had a strip of wrapping paper leftover after you've wrapped a gift?
Don't toss it in the trash ! Turn it into a cute craft for your kids.

Start by drawing and cutting out an outline of a

Strawberry.

Color the green part of the Strawberry.

Spread the craft glue over the strawberry and cover with
strip of wrapping paper leftover

Cut away any excess surrounding your designer with scissors.

And Voilà !

Nothing says Happy Birthday Dad  like a homemade gift from the heart! My boss had seen this idea on Pinterest and she decided to surprise Dad with one of these super special craft.

You'll need :
Paint markers ( brown color to draw tree trunk and  black color to write)
Acrylic paints in various colors
A blank canvas ( she used  11 x 14)

Directions:
1. Take the paint marker and draw a tree base onto your canvas..
2. After your base/trunk is completely drawn, paint the trunk brown.
3. After it's completely dried,  write a quote and let dry .
4. Paint the child hand completely, then press it  onto the canvas .

This is what your finished tree will look like
